Youth Pastor Mentor was born out of a desire to see youth pastors flourish in their life & leadership. We believe that with the right support, encouragement, and resourcing, a youth pastor can thrive in the context God has placed them, leading to long-term ministry impact in the lives of students and families.

Josh Haight
Founder & Lead Coach
Josh has been serving in student ministry since 2007, beginning as a volunteer small group leader before stepping into full-time ministry a few years later. Over the past 15+ years, he's had the privilege of leading in a variety of contexts- from multi-site churches where he guided teams, shaped strategy, and developed curriculum, to a church plant where he built next-gen ministry from the ground up. Along the way, he's discovered a deep love for helping students encounter Jesus in meaningful ways and for developing young leaders to step confidently into their God-given callings. Whether discipling a middle schooler, leading a team, or shaping ministry culture, his passion remains the same: seeing the next generation grow in faith and flourish for the glory of God.
Marcilyn Moment
Co-Founder & Coach
Marcilyn Moment started serving in student ministry while still in high school. Little did she know then that God would lead her into full-time ministry out of college. Over the years, she has had the privilege of serving in various roles within student ministry. Marcilyn firmly believes that youth pastors make an eternal difference in the lives of students and the church. She believes it is a privilege as a youth pastor to be given the influence to come alongside parents and families to disciple the hearts of young people. She loves to see every youth pastor confident in the call God has placed on them and thrive in the ministry context in which they’ve been placed.

Bryce McElroy
Media Specialist
Bryce is a full-time youth pastor with 4 years of pastoral experience and a creative background in video production. He loves crafting meaningful ministry environments through strong programming. Outside of ministry, he enjoys cooking, fireside conversations, and good coffee. YPM matters to Bryce because he wants youth pastors to thrive in their context and know they don’t have to walk through ministry alone
Mackenzie Haight
Experience Director
Mackenzie Haight serves at Youth Pastor Mentor where she helps shape the administrative, social media, and guest experience sides of the experience. A stay-at-home mom of three boys, Mackenzie finds joy in supporting the team's vision and the work God is doing through YPM. Having walked alongside her husband in youth ministry, she knows firsthand the unique challenges ministry families face. That perspective fuels her passion to help create a space where youth pastors can find encouragement, support, and practical tools to thrive in both life and ministry.
